The story
Charlotte deported with her mother, Elka and twin sisters Rachel and Marie (15), on convoy 22 of August 21, 1942. They lived at 11 rue Le Regrattier in Paris (4th arr.). Their father, Berek, was executed at the time of the Bron massacre in August 1944: Jewish and Resistance prisoners from Fort Montluc in nearby Lyons were shot to death on the Bron airfield, which had been bombed.
