Boarded Empress of Ireland as 3rd class with his parents and siblings Jean (9) Louis (8) Joseph (7) Renee (5) Marguerite (4) on May 28, 1914.On May 29th the Empress of Ireland collided with SS Storsad in middle of a fog at Saint Lawrence river and sank at 2:00 A.M.
