The story
Gisele was arrested at Angoulême (Charente) along with her parents and little sister Germaine (1), interned in the Poitiers camp, and deported on convoy 32 of September 14, 1942. Esther, the mother, who was English, and the two little girls, Gisele, 4, and Germaine, 1, were killed at Auschwitz. William (father) escaped from the Peiskratchan camp in Upper Silesia and was able to get back to Belgium in December 1942. He survived the war.
