The story
She was the third child of Georg Donatus, Hereditary Grand Duke of Hesse, and Princess Cecilie of Greece and Denmark. Johanna survived from a plane crash at age 14 months in 1937 (which her parents and two older siblings did not. She was adopted by her uncle Prince Ludwig and his wife. Two years later, hasn't reached the age of three years-she sadly perished from menigitis.
