The story
Joseph was arrested during the Vel d'Hiv roundup along with his family at their home, 7 rue des Jardins-Saint-Paul (4th arr.). And deported to Auschwitz with his parents and older siblings Eva (14 1/2) Paulette (13) Leon (11) Victor and Berthe (12) on August 26, 1942.
