The story
Lucia was the oldest child of Marcello and Elvira Nanni (nee Fiori). The family lived in Marzabotto,Italy. Through September to October the village was invaded by Nazi Germans in 1944 and many Italian civilians were killed. Including Lucia, her parents and her baby sister Gabriella *no photograph remains*.
