Born in Stredocesky, Czech Republic on September 8, 1937.

Died in Lodz, Poland on July 2, 1942.

The story

Son and only child of Vaclav and Marie (Spilková) Jedlicka. His father was killed by the Nazis during a firing squad on June 1942. Vaclav was taken to Lodz then Chelmno among 82 children from Lidice. He was among the 82 gassed in a concealed van.
