Vaclav Kobera

Born in Stredocesky, Czech Republic on November 26, 1936.

Died in Lodz, Poland on July 2, 1942.

The story

One of the 82 children murdered from the villiage of Lidice. They were all gassed in vans at Chelmno Death Camp in Poland. Then their remains were cremated and the ashes were dumped nearby. Vaclav was born in Lidice. He lived with his mother, siblings, and step-father.
