The story
Yvette on April 23, 1939, in Paris. The family lived at 10 rue Béranger in Vincennes, a suburb of Paris, and was arrested during the Vel d'Hiv roundup. Their father, Israel, who had been arrested and deported on convoy 6, survived. Her mother, Chaja, and older sister Myriam (12) were sent to Auschwitz on convoy 26 of August 31, 1942.
